How to Take Your AI BET Baseline Assessment: A Step-by-Step Guide

Welcome! Please follow these instructions carefully to access and begin your AI BET Baseline assessment.

Before you begin, please ensure you have:

• A stable internet connection with a minimum speed of 2 Mbps per user.

• A computer with a functioning webcam and microphone.

• A compatible device (macOS, Windows, or Linux) with an up-to-date web browser (e.g., Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge).

• Your login credentials (username and password).

• The test passcode provided by your instructor.

Step 1: Log in to the Portal

• Open your web browser and navigate to the official login page: https://corporate.bharatenglish.org/#/user/login

• Enter the unique username and password that were provided to you.

Step 2: Locate the Assessment

• After logging in, find the main navigation menu on the left side of the screen.

• From the menu, click on the AI BET option.

Step 3: Start the Scheduled Test

• On the AI BET page, find your scheduled assessment.

• Click the "Start Scheduled Test" button. You will then be redirected to the secure exam page.

Step 4: Grant Camera and Microphone Permissions

• Your browser will request permission to use your camera and microphone for proctoring purposes.

• Please click "Allow" when prompted. This step is mandatory to proceed.

Step 5: Review the Instructions

• A set of detailed instructions will be displayed on your screen.

• Read them carefully to understand the rules, duration, and format of the assessment.

Step 6: Enter the Test Passcode

• You will now be prompted to enter a passcode.

• Type the specific passcode provided to you for the AI Baseline test and click submit.

Step 7: Starting the Assessment

• After entering your passcode, click the "I Am Ready To Begin" button.

• A short instructional video will play to guide you on how to take the test. It is highly recommended that you watch this video to familiarize yourself with the interface.

• If you wish to proceed directly to the test, you can click the "Got It" button to skip the video.

• You will then be directed to the main test interface.

Step 8: Navigating the Test Sections The assessment is divided into four distinct sections. Please follow the on-screen instructions for each part.

• Listening: You will listen to audio recordings and answer questions corresponding to each recording.

Speaking: A sentence will be displayed on the screen. Please read the sentence aloud clearly. Your response will be recorded automatically.

Reading: You will be presented with a passage of text. Read the passage carefully and then answer the questions that follow.

Writing: A question or prompt will be displayed. Type your response in the provided text box to answer.

Step 9: Submitting Your Completed Test

• After you have completed all four sections, click the "Submit" button to finalize your assessment.

• A summary page of your test will appear, allowing you to review your completion status.

• To confirm your submission, click the "Submit" button on the summary page.

You will then be redirected to a success page, which confirms that your test has been successfully submitted.
